One more thing, make sure that your motherboard supports the overlocking of your processor. It should offer wide range of adjustments for the CPU settings. Smaller features like separate clock adjustments for different components such as memory, processor, and graphics are also important. If your motherboard has the extra cooling elements, it can help improve stability.
