LCM is simply speaking of lcd module, it is a connector, it provide a standard LCD driver interface for users to control the display of LCD. For smaller LCD, LCM can connect with kinds of MCU. But for larger LCD display, it can not reach the aim of control.

In 2003, LCM was registered in the UK and the head office was opened in London. Today, the head office, which has been ISO 9001 accredited since 2004, supervises all LCM operations. 

LCM is a set of libraries and tools for message passing and data marshalling, targeted at real-time systems where high-bandwidth and low latency are critical. An Asynchronous port on the computer used to connect a serial device to the computer and capable of transmitting one bit at a time. Serial ports are typically identified on IBM compatible computers as COM (communications) ports. For example, a mouse might be connected to COM1 and a modem to COM2. With the introduction of USB, FireWire, and other faster solutions serial ports are rarely used when compared to how often they've been used in the past.
