Our First Try at Food and Wine Pairings
My girlfriend and I had been thinking of some thing romantic to do for our six-month anniversary last week, so we watched a couple of boring romantic comedies on the new Blu Ray she purchased me a couple of days prior to and ate some film theatre buttered popcorn. Although watching the film "No Reservations", we came up with the concept to attempt our hand at some easy meals and wine pairings. So we went to a specialty marketplace in Long Beach prior to they closed and, rather than spending cash on private gifts, we decided to appreciate ourselves by buying 3 kinds of wine and meals that would go together nicely for an anniversary.
This was a totally new encounter for me, I'm not truly a wine drinker. But I figured receiving just a little culture by no means hurt anybody.
