360 is within the basement, router is on the 2nd floor. My main reason for upgrading was as a result of whereas watching streaming netflix movies, it'd stop and downgrade the standard to stay up with the streaming movie. this does not happen on my laptop or after I moved the 360 one floor nearer to the router.

The package comes with an guide, installation cd and also the adapter. The CD sleeve tells you to place it in initial before connecting the adapter. Rebooted and ran "test association" and it kept the recent configuration memory of the connection settings (MAC and ip addresses, passwords, WPA2, etc), except it connected full "4 bars" robust and stated the association sort was n rather than g. I checked this on the router moreover through my laptop. association speeds had varied from twenty eight to fifty four mb/s however currently jumped to fifty two to 108 mb/s. Tested the unit completely with MW2. No hiccups in voice or association issues with server throughout multiplayer or spec ops. conjointly tested netflix streaming. No issues here either. Watched a full movie with no recalibration/interuption. This has never happened before even on an honest day.
