Samsung Nexus S - Latest Technology Phone With Great Features
If you thought that the original Google Nexus One was a revolution, you need to think again because that is the new Google phone out and it is also called the Samsung Nexus S. It comes with the Samsung association because it is going to be made by Samsung primarily. The phone is so good in features that it could be the ultimate iPhone killer. It is not only the features that make this phone, but its design too, which is futuristic in its own way.
The Samsung Nexus S has a number of new things not only in the hardware department, but also in the software department too. One of the biggest improvements in the software department that this phone has over the rivals is the new Android 2.3 operating system. This is the latest operating system that has been developed to replace the old Android 2.2 operating system, which received a lot of negative criticism over the high complexity of usage. Hence, to address this issue the new operating system comes with far more user-friendly features and a completely redesigned its interface. This brand-new operating system is being displayed by a for 4 inch touch screen, which is nearly the same screen that you get in the very popular Samsung Galaxy S.
Even though the phone has a superb display, it still lacks in one big thing, a proper camera. The Samsung Nexus S features a five megapixel camera and there will be some noises about this camera especially given the fact that a number of its rivals are now going with the eight megapixel unit. However, having said that, the iPhone 4 features a similar spec five megapixel camera. The camera comes with autofocus and LED flash. There is 16 GB of storage on-board, but there are no clear indications about the support given for additional memory using additional memory cards. While most phones today have a 1 GHz QUALCOMM snapdragon processor, this phone now has the latest 1 GHz hummingbird processor, which is sure to have some effect on the processing speeds of the new operating system. Even though the phone has the latest processor, it still has the 512 MB of RAM. With regard to connectivity, the phone is top-notch and you can't really complain about the lack of any connectivity option.
DLNA, Wi-Fi, 3G and Bluetooth are some of the standard connectivity options that you can get on this phone. With such an array of wireless connectivity features, the phone can be connected with any possible device that would use the latest technologies available. Of course, being a Google phone you do get a lot of standard Google applications like Picasa, YouTube, Gmail and so on. It is not only Google applications that are standard since you get a lot of social networking applications integrated too. The phone will be first available in the US and only after that will it arrive in the UK shores on the December 20th. It is also suggested to visit mobile phone offers to make a right decision.
