How Much Do You Know About LED Energy-saving Lamps?

Over the years, the rapid development of modern society was at the expense to destroy the environment and waste resource. But in recent years, with several natural disasters, human beings began aware of the severe consequences of the environmental pollution and vigorously carried out energy-saving, low-carbon and green lifestyle.

The quality of the environment related to our lives, therefore, low-carbon life is the obligation for everybody. The basic way is to use LED energy-saving lamps.

Currently, with the development of technology, LED energy-saving lamps have a great improvement. Compared to traditional lighting, energy-saving lamps have the following advantages.

Firstly, it has high light efficiency. Energy-saving lamp adopted high frequency electronic ballast technology, allows lighting effect is five times higher than traditional lamps even though the size is same.

Secondly, working life is long. As the basic lighting for a family, people usually take into account the length of its life in the selection of lamp, the life for a general energy-saving fluorescent light is 5 times than ordinary incandescent bulbs, and now generally the working life for a LED energy-saving lamp is able to up to fifty thousand hours. 
Third, it has better light sensitivity. Traditional lightings emphasis on lighting up or light colors, after long time, people may be easy to feel tired. However, the LED energy-saving lamps incline to modulate soft light near the natural light so that to protect eyes and people will feel comfortable.

Fourth, LED energy saving lamps is compact and convenient. The new LED energy saving lamps not only with small size, also it is easy to carry. So it can be widely used for furniture and emergency lighting. 
However, there are still some problems can not be ignored.

1. DC power supply should be used.

In order to reduce cost, some manufacturers use "RC-buck" power supply for the LED. In this way, the working life will be affected directly.

2. Anti-static measures should be taken.

In the process of producing LED lamps, worker will take anti-static measures. Such as, bench need to be connected to ground; workers need to wear anti-static clothing, anti-static ring, and anti-static gloves. If condition allows, ion fan can be installed. Also to ensure humidity in workshop is about 65% so to avoid dry air to produce static electricity. Especially in terms of the green LED, it is more likely to be damaged by static electricity.

3. The seal of LED products.

No matter what kind of LED products are, once applied to outdoor, it will face with sealing problems of waterproof and moisture-proof. If not properly handled will directly affect the working life of LED products.
