XBOX 360 - 3 Red Lights Error - The Most Common Problem with a Quick Fix Solution

It is the failure of the Nyko intercooler that makes this Xbox 360 3 red lights appear. When this part heats up, it will lead to locking your console which would disable everything and make your Xbox 360 worthless. This was said to be one of the few flaws of Xbox 360 and even as we write about it, Microsoft is working hard to improve this problem.
For now, there are some tips that may help you fix this problem of your Xbox 360 3 red lights. Although this is just a temporary solution, it is still worth a try. Overheating of Xbox 360 is a common problem with quick fix solution - the Towel Wrap Solution.
The trick is to unplug the AV and Ethernet cables on the back of the console and wrap up the console with a towel. Then let your system power up and wait for about 20 minutes. The idea is to overheat the system to realign some of the solder joints on the motherboard that have cracked or bent out of shape due to Xbox 360 design imperfection. After 20 minutes you can now unwrap your Xbox and leave it to cool off before plugging the AV and Ethernet cables back in. This trick will work and offer a temporary fix your Xbox 360 3 red lights.
