Call of Duty Black Ops Lags
The game Call of Duty Black Ops sometimes lags in middle. We will discuss about various the steps to stop Call of Duty Black Ops from lagging.
Is it compatible with your system?
Call of Duty Black Ops lags if your computer does not meet the minimum system requirements specified in its ReadMe documentation. The ReadMe file can be found at the root of its installation media.
Make sure that your computer fulfils all the minimum system requirements for Call of Duty Black Ops. If any required hardware or software is missing, please install it.
Low Disk Space
Call of Duty Black Ops lags if your computer is running in Low Disk Space situation, or otherwise the required free disk space is not available. Clean up the disk space using the Disk Cleaner.
- Open My Computer.
- Right click a drive, say drive C.
- Select Properties.
- Click General | Disk Cleanup.
- Follow the on screen instructions. Do the Step 2 to 4 for all the remaining drives on your computer.
Install latest updates
The company releases latest patches for making improvements in the performance of the game and make it maximum bugs free. Call of Duty Black Ops lags if you have not installed these latest patches. You can get them from the company's official website.
Defrag the Disk Drives and your Registry
Call of Duty Black Ops lags if the disk drives and the registry are fragmented. Disk drives get fragmented when you copy files, delete the existing or create new files. Registry too gets fragmented and causes slowing down the operation of retrieving the information stored in it.
Defragging the Disk Drives

Defragging the Registry
You need to take help of a third-party registry cleaning software to perform this task. The system reboot will also require during this task.
