Once again it proved its ability by the new dell studio XPS 13 laptop. The dell studio XPS 13 aims to bring together the best of XPS and studio. • Design:

 

One of the best features of dell studio XPS 13 laptop is its stylish look. The shiny looks of the machine is fanciful. The black lid has a glossy finish that takes up the finger prints easily. The hinges are covered by aluminium frame that rather looks like plastic. It is very less in weight that one can pick it up with one hand without strain.

 

The black keyboard feels so soft and barely makes sound. Dell makes good use of space and so you have an abundant space for your fingers. The backlit keyboard makes it easy for you to type in dark or in places of dim lights. The touchpad on the other hand makes you feel so small because of its larger mouse buttons and less friction.

• Features:

 

The machine features only two USB ports. One is a regular USB port, other USB port doubles as an e-sata connection. Other features include Ethernet, a vga, security cable slot on left side of the base. In front it has lights that indicate Bluetooth, hard drive activity, wireless and wwan.  It also has 8 in one media card reader, dual headphone ports, microphone port and an infrared sensor. It also includes express card/54 slot and an IEEE 1394 (fire wire) port, a slot loading DVD drive and a power connecting port. The backside is clean with a single vent for hot air.

• Other technical specifications:

 

The 1.3 mega pixel webcam allows you to take bright and nicely colored photos. The stereo speakers supports Dolby 5.1 surround sound which renders you a home theatre effect. The dell XPS 13 is the best when it comes to graphical viewing. The machine comes with an optional hybrid SLI and the NVIDIA feature so that they come together in combination to create magic in our eyes while watching movies or any other visuals. Another reason to enjoy visuals is its screen resolution. The screen occupies lot of space rendering small space for the edges.
