Better functioning of computer functions depends upon the capability, which is directly proportional to the capacity of computer RAM. But adding more RAM is an activity that requires proper compatibility with motherboard, Hard Disc Drive and the operating system.

Computer RAMs are available in various modules ranging from 128MB to 512MB, 1GB, 2GB, 4GB etc. if your work profile or computer usage is limited to Microsoft Word or any such light applications, there is no need to purchase a RAM over 1GB or 2GB (depending upon the version of your operating system – Windows 98, Windows XP or Vista). But if your profile requires huge disc space (like for gaming industry professionals or hard core designers) – you might be recommended to upgrade your computer RAM to 3GB or 4GB and so on. Search for a reputed and authentic computer RAM manufacturer and purchase one if you are facing a low efficiency. You will definitely notice a positive change in the speed and efficiency once you add more RAM to your computer!
