The trouble is that the original G550 has set the standard for quality above all his successor rather high - it was a cheap, highly processed notebook for ordinary users, who basically had no major flaw in the ointment. He was even available in versions with both integrated and dedicated graphics core, and the shiny and dull, a little "business" version. Although I have in hand a specific number and assume that the Lenovo wanted to share them, it was clear G550 sales success for that simply had to be established.

Thus comes G560, retrofitted with new technology from Intel and a few interesting features directly from Lenovo is trying to regain the sympathy of the largest possible number of users. The manufacturer loaned us a test at the highest G560 configuration with dual-core processor family Arrandale and dedicated NVIDIA graphics card, which currently sells at a price below 560$ . The question is obvious - will appeal to the masses, the new model?
Appearance

As I mentioned, the original G550 is available in two colors, if this news can not wait option, however, to further understand the damage it certainly is not. Already at first glance, the G560 shows that compared to its predecessor design has come - the better shape that visually slim laptop, imaginative surfaces, lots of details, elegant and even matt surface at suitable locations. As regards dimensions, we have the diagonal of 15.6 "with 16:9 aspect ratio, total value of the standard 377 × 250 × 17.3 to 34.9 mm with a relatively comfortable weighing 2.53 kg. For the "consumer" Lenovo is a characteristic glossy finish lid with an interesting texture in the background. If G560 is at first sight a classic glossy black lid, under appropriate lighting pattern will appear in the form of randomly distributed short lines on the background Silvergrey - tasteful and equipment to boost it. When closed we have nothing further impress - with a large silver manufacturer's name is counted only still add that the lid has an interesting shape - the front edge is gradually sloping (the evocation of the low thickness), the other edges are chamfered.

When you open the laptop, in this case, we design pleases, even if it is basically one color - black. All LEDs, including the activities of Web cameras, are white, just display an optical drive as standard green. I have mentioned three buttons located above the keyboard again - it is a power button, press OneKey Recovery, which triggers the application of the same name, and a separate button battery pictogram for quick access to settings and switch power profiles.
