Macbook Pro Overheating Problem
'm a new mac book pro user. I've been happy with it, except for the heating problem. My problem is that my macbook runs idle at around 120-130 degrees Fahrenheit. When I go to metacafe it goes up to around 150 degrees and when I go to Google Books and open up a page my macbook reaches around 170 degrees. I have the same Macbook Pro Overheating Problem. I reduced my computers overheating problem by using the Fan Control utility, which enters the System Preferences panel. With Fan Control, I was able to control the fan speed versus temperature profile to some degree, but the maximum speed of the fan, no matter what the temperature starts in AT, is no match for a real episode of heating out of control.<p><strong> my <a href="http://install-how.blogspot.com/2010/06/amd-athlon-x3-ii-435-overclocking.html" title="Article Manager's Articles">Overclocking & Computer Modification</a></strong><p>
Macbook Pro Overheating can be lowered down by a process in the factory applied thermal paste between the CPU and the heatsink is removed and reapplied. In each case, if the process is successful, significantly reducing the working temperature of the CPU.

The misapplication of thermal paste at the factory is a known issue with certain models of MacBook Pro and has been discussed very widely, even in the main forums for Apple. Now, having said all this, if you were to disassemble the equipment and reapply thermal paste, that will definitely void your warranty.
To solve Macbook Pro Overheating Problem, the only option was to do a hard reset by holding down the power button. After a lot of research, I found the solution. In my case the situation only happened after I boosted the energy saving option to higher performance and running Parallels. What I found is that the MacBook Pro runs hot and overheats. I solved this issue by installing a program called fancontrol. It installs an Icon in your system preferences and Full Version you to dictate the minimum fan speed and control the fan speed slope to some degree. Since I have installed this, my MacBook runs cooler and I have yet to experience another lockup. I will keep you posted Ultimately if this does not resolve my issue, but so far, so good.
