Acer Aspire 3935 notebook captures Gold at Computex Taipei
Acer's Aspire 3935 notebook has captured Gold at the Computex Taipei Design & Innovation awards 2009 – organized by the world-leading industrial design institution, International Forum Design. The Computex Design & Innovation and Best Choice awards are held in conjunction with the tradeshow, and this year, Acer clinched a total of four prestigious awards.
The Aspire 3935 notebook and Aspire One 7 Series netbook were both winners of the Design & Innovation award, with the former capturing one of only five Gold awards. The evaluation criteria include judging the degree of innovation, environmental friendliness, brand value, choice of materials, ergonomics, among others on 147 entries received this year.
In the Best Choice competition, the Aspire Z5000 Series all-in-one PC was awarded by the jury, while the K10 projector won a Green ICT award. The Best Choice awards, which select Taiwan's best IT products in the overseas market, received approximately 400 entries this year. The Best Choice of Green ICT Award held for the first year, judges on the entries' reduction/elimination of hazardous materials, green design as well as corporate environmental performance.
Aspire 3935 notebook
