The Dell Inspiron Mini 9 battery typically ships with a 4 cell battery. But laptopbatteriesinc.com.au offers an 8 cell, 44000mAh battery that should last for up to 10 hours. The company warns that the battery works best with netbooks using the A04 or earlier BIOS versions. If you use the A05 BIOS you may have some problems charging or recognizing the battery.

picked one up and ran a few tests. Using the Battery Eater Pro test, the battery ran for about five and a half hours, but that test is meant to put some extra stress on your system. When he tried browsing the web and doing some other light activity the battery managed to last about eight and a half hours.
Now, you have to be careful when ordering third party batteries from eBay. Sometimes the results aren't quite as good. But it looks like this high capacity Dell laptop battery could be a winner.Your results may vary.
